What moves the number

The recurring factors, whoever you book with: appliance and circuit counts (a combi-only flat and a four-appliance house sit at opposite ends of the gas range), property size and age for inspections and assessments, access and travel, whether visits are combined (shared callouts are where bundling saves), and what the professional finds once on site. Where a district on this site is bookable, prices come from named providers' published manifests and can be booked against; everywhere else, ranges are guidance for planning, and the confirmed figure always precedes any booking.

What we won't publish: teaser prices that assume the minimum, "free" extras funded by inflated failure rates, or price tags on products that don't legally exist — our water-hygiene guide explains the famous one. The bundle estimator turns these ranges into illustrative combined totals.
